The king could take the queen though, unless there’s something else going on we can’t see.
There must have been a clergyman at 45 degrees over her shoulder watching through binoculars.
It looks like she’s one sword length / space away.
If that was the case, the knight would be able to help.
I prefer this one.
Fun fact Chess was under constant revision for a long period after its creation. After though people started gate keeping it and preventing changes. So who knows, maybe a better storyline existed or should of existed?
There is Duke Chess
https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/124123/dukes-chess
A chess variant that provides a larger board (8x9) and adds another piece to the standard chess set: The Duke.
The Duke can move 1, 2 or 3 spaces in any direction but is unable to capture in any adjacent space but can capture in the subsequent 2 or 3 spaces beyond that. The Duke may also jump over pieces to bypass them.
The Duke starts at the King’s side, opposite the Queen.
Il vaticano should be added to the rules.
Hide behind your horse you lazy bastard
Fun fact, rook piece is called elephant in India.
Bishop is camel.
Yes, you can say that again :)
Why is horsy a horsy and not knight? Also it seems king can take
King can’t take because a bishop is looking in her direction from half a mile away.
Sniper bishop
I like the idea
There were memes about it at some point in time
It’s a horsey because the head of the chess piece is a horse model. And the joke wouldn’t be as accurate to…whatever a Rook is supposed to be.
Is this “Ra4” everyone is talking about?
Yes, this is Red Alert 4.
I saw Red Alert 4. I just didn’t like it.
