The ASU Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College’s annual Strategic School Staffing Summit earlier this month highlighted a collection of potential solutions to the teacher shortage, but the question remains if any will incentivize teachers enough to commit to the classroom long term.

No kidding. I’d love to leave the tech industry to teach the next generation in the midst of the AI revolution - I’d think I have lots to offer in that department.
However, doing so would be a one-way ticket to poverty land no matter the district.
Let’s not pretend this crisis isn’t exactly the goal.
We want just educated enough to read simple directions and maybe handle some basic math. No critical thinking. No questioning our revisionist history. Keep em dumb and docile.
