Sama is a savage. I bet that Satya found out about the Apple-OpenAI deal on the Internet instead of from Sama.

Do you guys think he violated any agreements with Microsoft’s investment in closing this deal?

Or is it a testament to how Microsoft actually let OpenAI be “Open” and not exclusively controlled by them?

Either ways smart move by Apple, for the sake of staying relevant and staying alive, however quite disappointing how pathetic they are, not even making an ATTEMPT at their own proprietary AI.

And OpenAI and Microsoft both win anyways from this deal. But Satya is def mad because he could have had a clear opportunity to hamstring Apple by blocking the deal if only Sam played along.

Interesting to see how from the little outside perspective we have, there are so many things at play and so many different agendas. No one is on the same page when it comes to what their roles and partnerships should be.
