An earlier version of a Financial Times article (archived here: https://archive.is/wzgUP#selection-2349.168-2349.331) mentions how: “Beijing’s decision to dispatch Guo Xiaofeng to Chennai, a diplomat with a reputation for obstructionism, signalled China’s resistance to the G20 process this week.”

Interestingly, the article has since been altered to remove any names of the Chinese team. (current version available here: https://www.ft.com/content/3c8bab17-5719-4174-9a96-3cf04ef0b968)

Trying to find current references to any members of the Chinese delegation has been extremely difficult, as if their names where purposely scrubbed from news sources to enable China to issue blanket denials of this nature. Not sure what kind of intimidation behind the scenes was required to make that happen. But, these web archives are very useful in this circumstance.
