I didn’t realize these cars come with a 6 cell water filled battery. My STI is a 2019 and I’ve owned it for about a year and a half. Never had a problem with it then the other day I drove to the gas station, went to leave and it wouldn’t start. Turns out all my cells were bone dry, filled them with distilled water and charged overnight. Took it to get tested the next day and it was too far gone. I didn’t even realize they made this type of battery anymore and that I had that type in my car. New battery was $238 so just a reminder to check your levels to save you the trouble.
