I think there is more nuance in this concept than appears at first glance. On one hand, you get people who are so very clearly okay with being seen as women, breasts and makeup and all, but saying “it’s okay to be a feminine trans guy!1111!”. On the other hand, should a trans guy be discounted for doing “effeminate” things while still passing, or very clearly appearing male? Say wear a crop top while having a masculine physique/top surgery, or wear jewelry, or generally things that fall outside of a “dudebro” style. A third component is some women who are not trans, may convince themselves they’re just a feminine trans guy who they get desires to wear a dress or be like feminine women, which is harmful. Thoughts?
