Yeah, they’re a niche product design. It’s not surprising they failed to get $60M from accredited investors. I hope they succeed, but I won’t invest until they’re selling cars and go public.
Oh look, another car. Surely this one is going to solve climate change.
I would love to see it crash tested with side impact from an electric suv.
It’s an auto-cycle. Which is probably more like a motorcycle, but without helmet requirements. It should be significantly safer than a motorcycle, particularly in the safety category of: not losing a leg during a fender bender. But larger vehicles it becomes a simple mass problem. The best hope for a vehicle like this is probably to become a low wedge and flip the heavy vehicle over or launch it to avoid crumple zones.
This company is a scam operation. They have the same game they play all the time. Endless requests for funding.
Maybe do some research
You mean like the research that includes the first time they ran this scam?
Obligatory “yeah, well that’s just, like, your opinion, man.” Per your username.
They finished building up their production line in Carlsbad, CA (I’ve been to their building). They are, as we speak, building their first production-intent vehicles that are more/less identical to the vehicles they will be shipping next year. They post video updates every month explaining their progress. They’re going to showcase their production-intent vehicle next month at CES. They’ve signed deals with a South Korean battery manufacturer (EVE Energy Co.) and an Italian carbon fiber part manufacturer (CPC Group) to make their body panels, both of which are making parts for them.
That’s what I mean. A 5-minute google/youtube search would have told you most of that.
