I’m just an Aussie, so don’t mind me, but the advice at the end about entering on your Canadian passport seems like something that might be considered a crime that would cause further issues. You must enter Australia on your Australian passport if you have one, for example.
Not sure whetver I interpret your comment correctly. But that’s right, if you’re Australian. But this advisory comes from the Canadian government for people travelling with a valid Canadian passport.
What I’m saying is that if China discovers your deception, and if they have a similar law/rule/guideline about entering China on your Chinese passport as a dual citizen, they might not take kindly to you doing so.
or i’d say even if they don’t have that rule. if you offend the border guard for “not being proud of being chinese” or something like that - which can happen in literally any country - they have a lot of power to make your life miserable
