Turns out the ‘confession’ was a misunderstanding. The romance part turned out to be a setup for the true purpose of the show—a tourist ad for Okinawa. I ain’t mad, it’s really well-done. Also want to point out how precious the friendship between Higa and Kyan is.
If they wanna advance the romance, there’s a potential S2 for that, perhaps.
