I bought some fingers for the first time in years. They had two options so I went for the larger “family pack”. The box is slightly bigger but the amount of fingers is certainly less than or equal to what the normal size was when I last bought some, and even back then it was a quarter empty so always felt cheated. If I bought the normal size I’d be even more fuming.
Shrinkflation is so fucking patronising and misleading. I’d rather pay more for the same quantity than this nonsense.
It was so disappointing when, after years of proudly stating that, unlike other brands, their multipack bags were full size, Seabrook crips quietly reduced their multipack sizes down to 25g.
Mars/Snickers in Australia have reached the point where the “Twin” bars are roughly the same weight that the original bars were 20 years ago.
100% agree. I’m not gonna say the average consumer is a genius, but they aren’t that stupid. It’s insulting.
