I’m braced for the downvotes but there’s already enough dodgy club partnership stuff going on. Celtic are already far more tight with City Group through young Lawell Jr’s grafting than they’ll be willing to admit. Multi-club ownership is a cancer.

Before we know it our league will be full of feeder teams to European giants like FC Lorient. No offence to FC Lorient but I see they are owned by the same American who owns Bournemouth, and they also want to add a Scottish team to their books; essentially as a feeder team for Bournemouth alongside Lorient.

How fucking raging would you be if you were a young player breaking through at Motherwell (for example) and all of a sudden the new owners were like right we’re bringing in a bunch of French boys on loan from Lorient to get them up to speed for trying out for Bournemouth one day.
