It’s not difficult at all. Messi is better than Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe.

    There. See? Simple.

It would take some desalinization, but you will get there, it won’t be that difficult then.

Didier apparently doesn’t quite understand the idea that to be included in the discussion of the best of all time we need to take his entire career into consideration - and let’s face it, even if we only take into account this year Messi was much better than these guys.

Yeah you can. Went through 3 major leagues, won them all, was best player, best scorer. Several CLs, won it with two clubs. Goalscoring machine.

Messi was in the same league all the time playing with the same players all the time until he went to the farmers league of france to do nothing and now he’s in the farmers league of the US of A which manages to be even worse than Saudi league, who everyone here mocked. And he’s doing this at an age where Ronaldo was in italy breaking records and then had a very good first season in the best league of the world.

Winning a WC doesnt mean much in a 20 year career. Bunch of mediocre players that you dont know the name have won the WC.

So yeah its possible to argue that the guy that mogged 3 different leagues in his career is better than the guy who never left his comfort zone and when it did was to go to a farmers league.

And I dont like Ronaldo. And I think Messi is the best football player. But I can see the value.
