Wow I completely forgot a second season of this came out. I liked the first one but I didn’t expect a second season much less a third.

The show became silly almost immediately after they ran out of book. June became a superwoman who could take bullets all day and not even lose the highlights in her hair after years in Gilead. Seasons…I forget now, maybe 2-3? We’re DBZ levels of trying to keep introducing the NEW strongest guy in the universe Gilead government. A significant amount of the show was invested in which boy June wanted to take to the prom. Now Elizabeth Moss is a producer on the show so it’s just full vanity project. It’s also leading into the sequel books TV adaptation which…I admit I didn’t read the book but I saw a lot of people saying they suspect Atwood had a ghost writer do it and it sounded pretty bad.

I gave up on this show a season or two ago and frankly should have done so earlier. For a show with a social message it really does not take that social message seriously. I mean Christ they wrote one rape scene without even realizing it was one until articles talked about it after it aired.

Corner Gas would be my top pick for this.

Well, technically the title is F**k with the K, but yes I’ve also had people try to get smarmy with me over this show title lmao, it quite literally is the title.

The only major pain point I had with Jellyfin was getting it on my Samsung TV yes. It is absolutely not a good recommendation for people with Samsungs unless they’re willing to get their hands very dirty. Now, once I got the app side loaded on there, it works perfectly well, but the process sucked ass.

I used Plexamp before and found the switch to Finamp pretty painless. Can’t speak for other music apps though.

To some degree though that’s exactly why this should be more alarming: the current administration ISN’T just doing this to easy targets they know the population will ignore. If they’re doing this to a nice white Canadian woman instead of brown people they can easily disappear without being noticed, that means they’re getting a lot braver.

Well we have some standards …like they forced Musk to put mirrors on the Cybertruck, because Elon wanted to make it without mirrors and just use cameras.

If the Cybertruck gets water into the door (y’know, like from rain) it’s pretty common for the doors to also just open themselves whenever the fuck.

It’s amazing what’s common with these trucks, I recommend everyone read the Cybertruck Owners Forum.

A car like this isn’t a safe choice to begin with so step one is don’t get into one of these.

The Cybertruck fans have basically just decided that because one of them was a drunk driver they don’t need to think about the rest of it and it’s fine that they died.

Musk was once so distraught and erratic, having a full on breakdown, locking himself in his Twitter office. To the point where Twitter employees almost called for a wellness check on him.

This happened because he got booed at that Chappelle show he had a surprise appearance at.

This man will not survive being one of the most hated men on earth, especially if he also stops being the richest man on earth with how much of his net worth is tied to Tesla stocks.

Sound is almost always the sticking point for me in Linux installs.

But as I said in another comment, this doesn’t actually matter for the general populace because they don’t install OSes. The only situation where they’d use Linux is if they can buy a Linux PC ready to go, so config issues like this miss the forest for the trees.

The average person doesn’t use network drives or know what they are.

The real problem is if people can’t buy Linux laptops at Best Buy it literally doesn’t matter how usable or not it is because the average person doesn’t install an OS.

GSUS doesn’t do anything and doesn’t even intend to do anything until they get six million people signed up on their website, then won’t actually strike until 11mil, 6mil is just when they intend to decide what they might do. They’ve been doing nothing for a few years now and some of their main organizers believe shit like the magic vibrations from crystals can be effective for DIY abortions. It’s a joke.

Even if you think Elon is wonderful and doing just a great goodboy job in the government, you have to admit that he can’t possibly be monitoring Tesla at all right now. There’s only 24 hours in a day for everyone.

And while it’s probably for the best that he ISN’T in the office at all, he does still own the thing, so what he does is still a problem for the company.

So even if you ignore that he’s a nazi, which you shouldn’t, and just care about the car, you can’t imagine that Tesla the company is very secure right now. And these are not cars that are easy to just go get literally anyone to repair. So if Tesla fell apart tomorrow, it’d put your car investment in a very bad place.

I mean 99.99999% of people are going to care more that he’s, again, a nazi doing nazi things right now, but chances are a lot of those people already knew that and already bailed on Tesla cars. His behavior now is going to affect the people willing to overlook that. Instead of putting out new (and ideally for just about any market more affordable) models he’s theoretically more focused on his robots or whatever, and in practice focused only on fucking around in the government and not Tesla at all. Nobody is looking to buy an old Tesla, and he’s not doing anything new besides the massive failure that is the Cybertruck, so why WOULD someone buy one?

He has gotten at least three grants in the past that I saw on the NLNet website for Pixelfed, but none were listed as active when I looked. However, since you have to complete your project to get paid out I didn’t see a way to know if he actually received any or all of those grants. The current active grant is just for Loops. I believe the old Pixelfed grants also required certain licensing and the project being open source though.

Also, as of this morning, he was posting about how in order to make Loops open source and federated he needs to hit $200k on his Kickstarter. However, he was previously challenging people who were claiming it’s not currently federated or open sourced. So now the story is that it’s not yet and he needs more money to make that happen when previously he was claiming it already was both of those things.

It’s…a mess for sure.
