Same reasons as saunas I’d guess.
Cause it feels nice?
Drinking beer and shagging?
So the shower after feels better?
To help kill any infections they might have at the time?
To clear out toxins?
To make room for more water to be consumed?
To wring out their clothes and make a refreshing salty beverage
