I forget what the exact phrase is that the Russian media was using to refer to the eight years long siege of Donbas by the Kiev regime, but that phrase showed up on Wikipedia to be played off as a conspiracy theory.
Hmm…liberals often act like “tankies” just sprang out of the ground fully formed one day out of nowhere. And they also love to project…so what if this is projection? What if liberals are the ones who just spawn out of the ground suddenly out of nowhere?
That Wikipedia article gives me nightmares. Such a horrible thing to create to justify the war and attempt to remove any context and label it “conspiracy.”
Maybe the most asinine bit is the link to a page on the Soviet era slogan “and you are lynching Negroes,” which waxes poetic about how this phrase is a textbook example of whataboutism without presenting a single example, even conceptually, of what sort of thing the Soviets may be deflecting away from.
Wikipedia is only ever good for scientific and mathematic articles, anything related to politics and history are HARD passes. They’re either dodgy at best or straight propaganda at worst.
Liberals and “whataboutism,” name a more iconic duo.

Edit: it’s this one. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where_have_you_been_for_eight_years%3F
“Where you have you been for 8 years?”
Like, literally. Where have y’all liberals been? I suppose even asking the question makes us Kremlin stooges.

Its the same with Israel, everything before Oct7 is irrelevant hamas propaganda.
