Imagine scenes after we destroyed Liverpool, just to be knocked out in Semi by Cov. 😅

Truly can’t have asked for better draw though, first time glad to have Ian Wright help us out.

Dialo made that goal. He tracked back to break up Liverpools last attack, then made the interception and made the run to give Rashford space. He’s been great.

Wow what a last few minutes. Woke me up after the nap I managed to get for the previous 40 mins

He was offside in the end, so as good as it would have felt if that went in, it wouldn’t have lasted.

I don’t think we’re talking about the same one? I don’t think he was offside when he went one on one with the keeper and just barely missed on the far post

          Could be wrong though!

This is my first and probably only time I get to go to old Trafford. I just hope we play decent football.

I was stupidly lucky. Only in town for 3 days, leaving 10am tomorrow, and this match got scheduled at the perfect time.

Honestly I’m not sure how to process the match. One thing I remember, everyone was frustrated at Rashy for not running and missing chances, and then Bruno for losing the ball too easily a few times. Defending is still shitty, feels like we’re too slow in closing down. First half was definitely frustrating in failing to get the second ball.

The last 10 minutes of the first 90 was amazing. Stratford End got loud and the team played well. I was shocked at Rashford’s miss. Last kick of the match, could have been an amazing day. Then it was just back to nervousness.

Extra time was a bit of a blur really. Lots of nerves and excitement, screaming and shouting. I honestly missed the red card and thought Amad somehow got injured when he walked off.

Today was one of the best days in my life honestly.

To be fair we let them into the game.

I don’t understand when we played out from the back we always take too many passes and wait for the entire Liverpool team to press to the edge of our box before we try to get it forward.

It’s so dangerous and stupid. And we paid the price.

40 minutes in. We just need to hold on till the half, and for the first 10 minutes of the half. It’s where we have always been vulnerable.

I’m liking what I’m seeing right now. A lot of good over/under lapping runs to get in behind the Liverpool defense.

It’s great, full backs are doing that well. Plus Maino and Mctominay. But I’m a bit worried just how often they both go forward leaving massive space in our midfield on the counter

Our number one goal poacher in the right place , right time again! Nice move. Surprisingly good start to the game.
