lemmy.world added the old reddit style into its instance. I think it would be great to have that here also.
We all know that current lemmy browser UI is not so great
I really like that “old Reddit” skin , it’d be even better if the mini-thumbnails were optional.
The current Lemmy web interface is nice, but as number of posts and communities goes up I’d like the more compact form.
Calling it old.lemm.ee doesn’t make any sense. I think something like Reddit OG, or ReddOG, which would give you reddog.lemm.ee and remind me of Clifford.
But really though I just want RES features in lemmy, eg the ability to expand all image/video posts and have a neverending scroll that loads the next page when you scroll down.
All other instances which are applying this “skin” uses the old name, so it’s good to keep it at least for consistency sake
