I’ve never heard this nonsense. Baristas’ labor adds use value to beans by turning them into flat whites. How do you fuck this up?

    Edit to add:

No it’s not, the barista’s labor accounts for less than 5% of the real cost of the commodity, 95% of the real value already exists in the commodity. Please read Marx.

Aside from this person not bothering to do the math, they don’t seem to understand unequal exchange. They seem to be equivalating the periphery’s labor wages with that of the labor aristocrats in the imperial core who benefit (less and less lately) from their inequality.

I love when these people say you need to be “unbiased” because they always mean (whether they realise it or not) that they just want you to confirm their preconcieved biases. There’s bias, and then there’s the unbiased truth, which agrees with me.

the barista shit is so good but you have to also appreciate them saying prostitutes are petit boug by pointing to people on top of porn multilevel marketing schemes. it’s seriously what feds would do if trying to misdirect from real takes abt the labor aristocracy and prostitution, because these guys focus on getting attention to the exclusion of anything else
