It’s not in contrast to the rest of the world. Apple market share is growing basically everywhere that they sell iPhones. Android rules in poorer and third world countries. Without places like India android marketshare worldwide would halve. They sell in India etc because they’re cheap. Apple don’t make cheap phones.
I couldn’t find data that supports the “Apple is growing everywhere” statement. What I could find shows Apple is a minority in all but US (granted I didn’t check every region)
