Not sure Im ready for one of these ‘internal combustion’ cars I keep hearing about. Until they can sort out the risk of the flammable liquids you have to put in them from catching fire it seems too dangerous and impractical.

While I’m all for electric replacing fossil fuels when it makes sense, this is just smugness. Lithium batteries are objectively just as dangerous to keep inside as a sealed tank of gas. People are rightfully scared of what happens when vape batteries and broken batteries rupture, it’s foolish to pretend that EV batteries don’t face some of the same risks. EV vs. ICE fanboyism isn’t going to get anyone switching, the practical advantages of EVs will.
It was a joke about all the press the Bolt got. Im well aware of the risks of lithium ion batteries.
