I’m usually pretty organized, but today was a disaster. I’ve been working on a huge project for weeks, and today was the big meeting with the client to present everything we’ve done. Last night, I was so exhausted from all the late nights and early mornings that I fell asleep without setting my alarm. I didn’t even realize it until I woke up two hours late, way past the time of the meeting.

Panic immediately set in as I checked my phone and saw dozens of missed calls and texts from my team. They had gone ahead with the meeting without me, and from the looks of it, it didn’t go well. I quickly called my manager, but he was clearly disappointed and told me we’d discuss it later. Now I’m sitting here, feeling like I’ve let everyone down. I don’t know how I’m going to fix this.

TL;DR:  I forgot to set my alarm and missed an important client meeting, leaving my team scrambling and my boss disappointed.
