I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, “they’ll blame everyone but themselves.”

Madeline Pendleton came up with a good term for this phenomenon:

    The article

One of the attacks was in Wichita, where they disrupted the payment system, leaving the water running, but the payment system down, so that customers couldn’t pay their bills.

Damn, attack my city with that one.

Why did the activist group, CyberAv3ngers, attack US water systems equipment? Because it was made in Israel and they are targeting all Israeli-made equipment.

All other references were to China and Russia. China was from the FBI director telling Congress that Chinese hackers are 1337 and preparing for potential US infrastructure attacks, one specifically being to cut off all communication from the US to Asia in the case of US military aggression, but not allegations that they had done any harm at this time. Russia was a reference to a hack in Texas that made a water filtration tank overflow. I’m not going to look up that article. This is all mostly fear mongering and if there is damage being done or planned for the future, it’s (as always) because the US is up to no good and was the aggressor (or enabler/aggressor in the case of Israel).
