The lasagna knows not of your arbitrary timekeeping, Jon.
The trick is to have an automatic feeder and not bother to adjust the clock for DST
But those are useless when you have one greedy dog. The others will starve.
Kill the greedy fucker, problem solved.
Thanks for the advice, Kristi Noem.
I’m pissed too. Presidential candidates have fluoride on their platforms but not this? This nonsense needs to end.
Yes, we need to teach dogs how to tell time!
At one point in Trump’s presidency, it seemed like he was pursuing the daylight saving isssue, making the DST the standard, but he never brought it up again.
Sometimes trump hears a policy suggestion and it becomes an earworm for him. Then he’ll keep repeating that earworm until it’s out of his head.
What’s the fluoride reference?
Omfg, wow. Didn’t expect that to be at the top of their agenda
We’re watching my in-laws cats and we’ve decided to just randomly show up. They have dry food but when we show up we give them the fancy feast, and now they’re conditioned to greet us at the door and they’re always excited
Edit: upon further contemplation I think her parents are gonna be really confused when they come back and the cats are just randomly hanging around them whenever they walk in the house. Maybe we made a mistake lol
I found out my automatic feeder is just ignoring daylight savings time. I’m getting the notifications “an hour early”, and the app acknowledges them as being an hour early, but it still checks off the correct feeding time in the app, so I guess it all works out?
This his home so hard. My pups just marched into the living room to demand dinner. My cattle dog was straight up knocking the controller out of my hand. (if you have a cattle dog you understand my pain)
If you don’t feed them, they’ll just sit there and overreact to ANY movement you make.
Pick up the remote “FOOD TIME?” Get up to pee “FOOD TIME?” Breathe a little hard “FOOD TIME?”
I just adjust feeding time by one hour. Easier for me to switch than my pets.
Ya we’re essentially their servants.
Just do half hour first day, then full hour next day
I’m sorry John.
My dog associates food time with my meals. Food time is food time for both of us, and not based on what a clock says. So i can sleep in on the weekend. Works out since i generally only eat twice a day anyways. But she gets a treat if i have a third meal.
She used to free feed and maintained a healthy weight. Not anymore 🙃. Having meal times at all has been an adjustment, but she learned over a few days.
