Mostly the cost of latex, and that I have nowhere to store it properly. I have a few cheap items, but their quality isn’t the greatest, and if I were to spend the money on a full-body suit, I’d want a nice one. Cute and hot are very subjective descriptors. Whether I’d call myself any of that really depends on the day and my mood. (I also don’t have anybody who’d lock me up, call me hot, and use me~ and maybe that’s another big reason. I never really do anything big by myself because it’s not even half the fun. It’s the intimacy with another person that I crave, being hot not just in a mirror but in the eyes of another person.)
I’ve tried a few cheaper items myself. My personal worry is spending all that money and it being sized wrong, or just not liking it in reality. Also, I might have a sensitivity to latex, and it pulls on hair. As an adult, I’ve always wanted to experience someone else tying me up. When I was little my brother and a friend would tie me up, because that’s what kids do sometimes.
Hopefully you find that someone that sees you has hot as you want them to.
Sizing is definitely a big issue. I have a pair of thigh highs that are a little loose around the calves, and that’s annoying. Latex pulling on hair is annoying, too, especially when you have long hair, but I really like the feeling of it on my skin, so it’s worth the trouble. Being tied up by someone else is on my list of things I want to experience, too. Another person doing it is way more exciting because when you do self-bondage, you should always have a way to release yourself if something goes wrong, so you’re never fully “trapped.” A friend and I did the same thing when we were kids. Funny how that’s not as uncommon as I thought :3
