You’re legitimately fine touring Chernobyl, if you clear it with the Ukrainian government. Radiation levels aren’t ideal, but they’re well within the tolerance of a day trip. Just avoid actively searching for radiation sources and you’ll be fine 999/1000 trips. Particularly on the Ferris wheel, tetanus and structural integrity are a greater concern.
