    That’s actually really impressive. Linux gaming has come a long way. I guess due to the investment Valve has put in or are there other events that have contributed?

      HDR has been supported in the hardware, drivers and monitors for a long time. It’s just the middle layer (Xorg and Wayland) that hasn’t supported HDR. Nobody wants to do the Xorg part, but work is underway for Wayland and compositors.

        Gamescope is a requirement for HDR10 support when playing games, to make use of this feature you must launch your Gamescope session using the --hdr-enabled flag.
