There is no requirement that the Speaker of the House be an elected member of Congress. After Elon Musk all but killed a bill to fund the government, lawmakers now propose to cut out the middleman.
It would be interesting to see Musk utterly fail in the role. Besides deflating his image/ego, the failure would provide further evidence that business leaders don’t have special skills to magically make government work better.
Plus: Johnson has been no friend of the American people.

He has the charisma and eloquence of a tub of lard.
No I haven’t seen him talk on stage, but am not surprised that it hasn’t gone well.
