Having issues signing into Lemmy.world on desktop. I was able to post here by sending a password reset request. When I log in the normal way, I just get a slow spinning circle on the login button. I’ve tried Firefox, Vivaldi and Safari, with adblockers disabled, even tried it in a private window, to no avail.

Couldn’t find anything in search about it so I thought I’d post about it.

I had this issue and I’d made an error entering my password. Double check that.
I’m sure the devs are working on proper error handling. Just being faced with a spinner is frustrating.

I’m using a password manager, so that isn’t an issue in this case. :\

Wonder if it might be a CAPTCHA issue? Browser’s inspector shows logs for a CAPTCHA but there’s no CAPTCHA that shows up.

I’m having exactly the same issue. I am also using password manager. I was able to sign in by requesting password reset. And now whenever I try to sign in I get the spinning icon. I have tried on my mobile, another desktop browser, and I even tried Jerboa for Android. On desktop and mobile spinning circle. On Jerboa I get “incorrect login” message.
