    Really disappointed with the second season. Might not continue with a third one if they don’t promise it’s the final season. I just can’t with the mystery that refuses to go anywhere.

      Same! You can’t just keep stacking mysteries and weirdness on top of each other without any pay-off or explanations. The world-building is overall lacking and what bits of knowledge that we have don’t add up to anything at all.

        Cant figure out the spoiler tags on lemmy so warnings for spoilers.

        This season we learned what MDR has been actually working on, the goal of Lumen and Kier, who miss cobel was, what the goats are for.

        The remaining and new questions are just - why does cobel like mark, why did lumen kidnap gemma specifically, and I guess more background information on the keir cult and other world oddities.

        Not sure what you guys are talking about, I felt like it answered all my questions and the only things remaining are just set dressing.

          What is the goal of Lumon and Kier? I didn’t really get it. Was Mark the only one who could work on Gemma’s files? If so, what were the rest of MDR doing?

            Kier and Lumen are trying to end pain and suffering. The either was a first attempt, severance is the latest.

            No, everyone can do the numbers, but they aren’t as good at it as Mark is. Ever since the first episode it has been noted that Mark is particularly good at completing the files.
