And/or: is there a way to message a mod team for a particular community?

I created /c/AskDad and want to do my due diligence in supporting it. But given the nature of that group, it’s hard to just “add content” (as that comes from people asking questions). So my main option is simply promoting awareness of it.

I was considering posting in /c/AskLemmy since the two groups are somewhat related, but I’m not sure how we as a community feel about that sort of thing. Then I figured I’d message a mod, but there are lots already.

So how do we feel about cross promotion? And is there anything within Lemmy to message a mod team in general?
