tl;dr: after pushing rcs so hard for years, killing hangouts well after forgetting about it, & hiding it from gmail, google now wants you to use its (and google allo’s) successor, google chat.

    Have you tried Telegram? I’ve slowly been moving over to it more and more with my contacts, and I find it’s a much nicer experience than WA. Especially with handling files and attachments, which I could see being useful in D&D.

      Agree. My group is on Telegram, and we love it. Excellent features, and the dev team is great.
