This was created before the upvote display calculation change that makes reddit vote counts appear “more accurate to the real world numbers” or whatever they were saying at the time.
Yeah, nothing ever reached that high, so it’s supposed to be an insanely popular post.
I think that also represents almost the entire user base upvoting at that time.
