BREAKING: Tufts Student Rümeysa Öztürk Released From ICE Detention

The decision is another blow to the Trump administration’s effort to detain and deport international students for their speech.

Rumeysa Ozturk was arrested by ICE for co-authoring an opinion article in the university newspaper, criticizing Israel’s genocide in Gaza and suggesting the university divest from Israel.
