I choose to believe this is “wound” as in wind up toy. The people who wound us up and set us on our way have no say in how we clean up the blood from all the craven murders we commit along the way. 🤷‍♀️

Not all wounds are intentional. If a pedestrian steps off the curb and gets hit by a bicyclist, whoever is at fault may very well be the first person to administer aid and call for an ambulance. Did the bicycle run a stop sign, did the pedestrian not look? Irrelevant
