I’ve been using HDDs and SSDs for our post-production workflow. Recently my team has been expanding, with more projects, and a larger storage requirement- this has led to a lot of external drives lying around. Buying more drives won’t solve the issue.

I’ve come across RAID and NAS storage solutions. I prefer to go ahead with NAS. Is that a good decision? Provided most of us work on MacBooks, what infrastructure needs to be in place for seamless editing using NAS storage? How fast should the router be? Does editing over Wi-Fi work, or do we all need to be connected over ethernet? I’m so clueless at this point.

I’m looking for something that is easy to keep organised, even with multiple users and a system that can grow as the team and demand grow.
