Proof that this is completely unreliable: somehow, Havertz has the lowest on the board by far, despite this including the ref, and Trossard, who barely even touched the ball.

Havertz’s rating is lower, in my opinion, because his substitute played like prime David Silva after coming on. This leads me to the conclusion that his lackadaisical, safety first play is a hindrance to the team.

You could say much the same about Trossard though, and I’d certainly argue he was worse. Nketiah came on and was wayyyy better.

The difference is glaring when Vieira is MOTM. Havertz’s and Kiwior’s lack of dynamism is why our forwards and wingers looked awful. Havertz more so to blame. He had instances where he could have turned into space and created chances. Mind you, Nketiah and Havertz were on the same pitch for about 10 mins or so and nothing clicked. Then Vieira came on. This doesn’t completely absolve Trossard though. He still had a bad performance.
