It’s a bit of a tradition to run your favourite open source OS on an outdated e-waste notebook, decorated with stickers. Let’s celebrate this and show off our sticker bombs!

This is my Acer Extensa 5630EZ (upgraded with a SSD and a whopping 4GB of RAM), used as a testing machine for distro hopping and currently intended for running OpenBSD. :)

I felt like I had something worth contributing here, so I took decided to finally take the time to install OpenBSD on my little netbook from 2008 (Acer aspire one). Turns out I had to crack open 2 other laptops to find a supported wireless card ! But now I can finally run my favorite OS on this little thing, and you made me do it, so thanks !

The other one is an HP elite book I use at work so I cannot run openbsd on it (I tried though but got gently asked to not do that please). I used it last December as an advent calendar by slapping a new sticker everyday until Christmas. Quite happy with the result !
