Last-gen AMD GPUs and even some last-gen Nvidia GPUs beat Nvidia’s current gen in performance and cost way less. The pricing of 40 series is absurd for the performance it provides.

I can’t bring myself to upgrade but my 1080 when the games coming out are absolute trash for the most part. Give me something that isn’t hot garbage and needs a 40 series and I’ll consider it

No one should buy a 40 series for anything. They’re literally useless. Nvidia’s own 30 series beats it, and AMD’s last and current gen beats it too. Intel’s $250 Arc A750 outperforms the $430 RTX 4060 in Cyberpunk at 1440p and 4K. The entire 40 series is a scam lol. It’s honestly hilarious that Nvidia even released it.
