I used to have a dedicated desk that both my sewing machine and serger fit on. The space is smaln, though, so the ironing board and cutting space would be in another room. I resisted putting the machines away thinking that they’d get used less and I was right. Any tips on how to keep the machines accessible but reduce their footprint?

I haven’t found a super good solution but I simply put my machine under the table and far back. My machine is medium sized and is just annoying to lift up and down. I have also tried to keep the table space usable from multiple angles. So if I wanted to sew I simply moved my chair to rhe short end or I’d pull the table slightly to one side to make space.
I use as must vertical space as I can, since I don’t have much floor space in my room.
