Procedure for Counter-Notification
Upon receipt of a valid copyright notice, the user who posted the targeted content will be notified.
If you believe that your material has been removed by mistake or misidentification, you have 14 days to provide the following information:
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A description of the material that was removed and the location on the Site where it would have been found prior to its removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the initial notification of infringement.

Repeat Infringers Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, lemmy.name has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. lemmy.name may also, at its discretion, limit access to the Site and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
