I still think that OP is applying these in a horrible use case considering their main use by far is showing the pronunciation of logographic characters.
I found out about this by accident, just wanted different brackets to differentiate between (Author) and {Character Name/Source Material} and kinda liked the way it turned out.
But looking back on it the text is really small and it doesn’t look good on mobile, and like you said, it’s not really their main use case so I changed the titles to something more readable.
