A new study has been published showing that almost 1 in 3 men over the age of 15 are infected with at least one genital human papillomavirus (HPV) type, and 1 in 5 are infected with one or more of what are known as high risk, or oncogenic, HPV types.
There’s been a vaccine for decades, but for some reason they just gave it to women. Even if a man asked for it, they wouldn’t be able to get it. Which makes no sense for a STD, even if a man’s symptoms aren’t usually noteworthy.
I think men are finally able to get it, but you have to be relatively young or you’re just out of luck.
That’s not true. My boys got it.
The fact that you said “my boys” makes me think they’re still young…

Australia rolled it out to both genders immediately.
Most western countries only made it available to women as it protected from cervical cancer, ignoring the other protections.
UK only started making it available to boys in routine age vaccinations 3years ago. It was a £400 private charge to get it before that
