Sa Mubi lagi ako nagsusubscribe if may cheap na promo or libre pero hindi ko nasusulit. Halos lahat ng well known dun napanood ko na at yung mga indierific nila masyadong indierific for me.
You’re about to comment on my post, but okay. Haha.
I did this, too. Kung meron man lang Criterion Channel sa Pinas, yearly subscription talaga pipiliin ko at launch.
I also tried Criterion Channel (kahit nung Filmstruck pa siya dati) and parang ganun din, hindi ko nasusulit. I like it better than Mubi though, for a lot of reasons. Inclusion of commentary tracks and some titles have a preview wherein their curators explain tidbits about what you are about to watch.
Max (aka. HBO Max) is the best bang for the buck IMO. If you want Criterion-type titles, they have a large selection of it. On top of the dozens of awesome HBO shows and Warner movies.
Max is not available in PH. AFAIK, users can use VPN to access its catalogue.
