The new apartment complex near Metro Market is seeking approval to lease up to 90 of their 251 units as AirBnBs for up to 2 years. What are your thoughts?

    If I’m not mistaken, hotel rooms in Milwaukee generate 7% in taxes for the city and 3% in taxes for the county. As long as they pay their fare share, I’m in favor of it. I would only object if they take a “We aren’t a hotel. We refuse to pay taxes.” attitude.
