    You want to say that Beautiful Trumponia is the only adequate country among a bunch of crazy imbeciles?
    Why would we want puppies? Most people don’t like animals and are not capable of taking care of them.

    idk I’m of two minds about the UN stuff. On the one hand we in the US should not be able to single-handedly stifle anything good coming out of there. Hate my government for doing that.

    But I also feel like people massively overplay how much good they really do. It feels like half the time you dig into one of those UN resolutions and it’s like;

    We’re designating climate change an existential threat to humanity.

    But what does that mean?

    What do you mean? It means climate change is an existential threat that we have to stop!

    So what are you planning to do about it?

    We just told you. We just designated it an existential threat to humanity.

    Like… I know they’re not all like this… but I vaguely remember a few in recent years that felt like their only purpose was to just be a virtue signal for people to take back home like “See? We’re taking this seriously. We signed this important UN resolution and everything.”
