      You’re supposed to be in the middle lane if you are not exiting the highway soon. The middle lane is the travel lane. Left lane passing lane. Right lane is specifically for entering/exiting the highway. At least on a 3 lane highway.

          The problem is all the people trying to merge going 45 in a 65, so you’re just constantly passing all of the idiots anyways while in the middle lane.

          That causes safety, not traffic. The most dangerous maneuver you can perform on the road is a lane change and driving in the right lane forces lane changes upon you as people entering the highway are constantly doing it to you.

          It’s also illegal in at least some places, but it is both common and typical for traffic laws to be out of sync with safety.

      There is a visible exit only sign for the right lane half a mile ahead. The cammer is in the correct lane.
