    I don’t think China will respect us even if we ban that movie.

    We don’t expect respect from abusive governments.

      You have a point there but the lack of action will embolden them. If there are no consequences to their claims, no matter how small, they’d keep believing that we’re okay with them.

        They don’t need anything from us to embolden or discourage them. They have something we don’t. It’s something we’re trying to have by alliances.
