My daughter used to do stuff like that. She then turned three and started behaving much better.

I remember seeing a video of a meeting he had with shinzo abe where he also brought a big barking dog. It was ridiculous

I didn’t find an English version with that quote:

        https://www.zdf.de/nachrichten/panorama/putin-merkel-hund-absicht-heusgen-100.html

“Als die Kanzlerin Anfang 2006 ihren Antrittsbesuch machte, hatte ich meinen russischen Kollegen angerufen und ihm gesagt: Putin hat ja einen Hund. Die Kanzlerin weiß das, und sie wäre sehr dankbar, wenn bei ihrem Antrittsbesuch dieser Hund nicht da wäre. Sie ist gebissen worden, und deswegen möchte sie keine Hunde dabei haben”.

"When the Chancellor made her inaugural visit at the beginning of 2006, I called my Russian colleague and told him: Putin has a dog. The Chancellor knows this and she would be very grateful if this dog wasn’t there on her inaugural visit. She was bitten “and that’s why she doesn’t want to have dogs with her.”

Note this was many years earlier, not the event from OP.

lemme guess, when putin arrives late to meetings, he’s petty and childish.

when biden does it, it’s cool and he’s showing putin who’s boss.

I can’t believe people put up with this shit. Desperation is the only answer that makes sense. Four hours? Fuck that.

I believe waiting is relatively for these people, there traveling so often there work just goes with them, they very likely where waiting in a comfortable room and doing there usual work,

Otherwise i do agree, after repeatingly Pulling this stunt i would just leave after 10 mimuts of waiting as a return power move.

They should do it like live shows/plays/musicals.

Doors close at the agreed upon time. You arrive late, you wait outside until the end of the act/bit or the intermission.
