Game should be replayed, right?
Everton defended well tbh. Salah is worth 400M man
Klopp punching the air looks like someone swatting a fly but trying not to hurt it.
Should’ve been a second yellow for Ibou. Once again the officials can’t do their jobs. It’s a complete joke now
Am I relieved he stayed on? Not really because those decisions bite us and every team in the arse at some point
Shit decision, really got away with one. Having said that I think we win this match with 10 men anyway.
Proud of Everton.
Boys played hard, but a bit of hard luck with refs decisions.
Genuine question, do you actually think it would’ve changed much if Konate rightfully sees a red card? If anything I think you’d try and attack more and the only times we really looked like scoring was when you tried to attack.
Just some consistency in decision is all the league wants it went for us but it’s so frustrating to see
Also no clue what happed with Gravenberch at Bayern he’s been so impressive in every game he’s played
Waste of time this fixture might aswell just give liverpool 6 points if your going to give them every desicion in these fixtures. I bet klopp wont be moaning aboit replaying this game and being unfairly robbed
Oh this is fun, you’re about to really say it wasn’t a penalty and Young’s wasn’t a yellow?
The reverse fixture will be 0-0
Hey Liverpool, keep demanding for better officiating if you don’t want to look like hypocrites
Branthwaite and Onana are such ballers
Branthwaite was so impressive especially defending set pieces, can’t believe he’s only 21.
We were extremely lucky that Konate didn’t get that second yellow. The pen was legit. Young was unlucky with the first yellow, not the second. VAR should have the power to call a review on potential second yellows. They are just as game changing as reds, it makes no sense that they can’t be reviewed.
They defended brilliantly but at the end of the day we absolutely dominated. If Young stays on the pitch, I still think we win, it would just be a very different game.
I’m not sure if I agree with the ref being afraid to give calls against us. That certainly wasn’t the case against Brighton. It was a bad refereeing performance that fell our way, maybe it had something to do with how the club reacted but I’m not sure
Pool was shit, Everton was shit. Ref was shit. Shit game overall. Next.
soccer comedians out in full force. all comedians thinking about the same “replay the game” joke. cant believe how funny that joke still is /s
Some thoughts on the second half since I couldn’t watch the first:
-
Tsimikas coming off with no replacement was a very brave move from Klopp
-
Konate was lucky not to get sent off
-
TAA wasn’t really on it
-
Nunez does not look like the same player as last year
-
Elliott was good
-
Salah, despite his 2 goals, was absolutely dire and anyone who has him as MOTM needs to get their head checked
-
Diaz can dribble and that’s about it. If not for Keane he’d be getting a lot more shit
-
Refs are still shit
-
Salah with 11g+a in 9 matches
It’s amazing how he can keep doing this - you watch him play and other than his goals, he looks crap. What a finisher
The fuck is this take? Besides today he’s look amazing the entire season
He was dreadful today, created nothing, did nothing except the goals. It was maybe the worst I’ve seen him play. Then he pops up with 2 goals
It’s because he isn’t the direct dribbler he used to be. If you’re judging him by that standard he has fallen off a cliff. His signature move now is drive at the full back and lose the ball lol
However, he has become far more of a facilitator the last 18 months or so. He had a poor game today, but he has been so crucial in our buildup play with quick accurate passes and unlocking defences with sly balls in behind. Yet, he still manages to get his goals as well.
He’s truly phenomenal. Just one of those players who’s never really out of the game even when he’s playing poorly. Always seems to pop up with a goal or assist out of nowhere. True sign of eliteness IMO.
