MATCH EVENTS

1’: We’re off!

8’: SAVE! Vlahović denied, not hit with enough power, Montipò shifts to his right and gets behind it safely.

10’: Weah shoots a couple times, gets blocked, Gatti tries the rebound but slices it into the back rows.

13’: Goal Juventus! Moise Kean scores his first league goal of the season, a solo effort where beats his man, cuts inside and fires from distance! Except… no, it’s been chalked off! Offside by the tiniest of fractions!

16’: Magnani’s header goes way past the Juve goal

18’: SAVE! Kean tries again, his header is tipped just over!

19’: Kean gets a cross and sidefoots it towards the far bottom corner but it skips just wide of hte post!

23’: We pause to see if Weah committed a handball in the penalty area. Clearly hits him in the shoulder, the ref can’t give that and doesn’t.

30’: Folorunsho’s shot goes wide and just misses rippling the side netting.

32’: Moise Kean tries to do it alone, somehow cuts away from six guys but fires wide from a tight angle.

37’: Vlahović puts a shot over the net.

40’: Daniele Rugani clatters into the back of Đurić

45+2’: SAVE!! Bremer heads a bad clearance over to Bonazzoli! Bonazzoli fires with venom but Szczęsny keeps it out of the near corner!

HT Juventus 0-0 Hellas Verona Juve still scoreless with Verona, despite Kean’s best efforts.

46’: Juventus substitution: Fabio Miretti on for Tim Weah

46’: We’re back!

49’: Kean’s header goes over.

49’: Rabiot with a great shot that goes just wide!

50’: Michael Folorunsho goes into the book for some reason, possibly for complaining about being fouled by Rabiot

53’: Goal Juventus! Moise Kean finally has his goal with a bullet header! He has threatened all game and at last it has come true, putting in McKennie’s cross! But wait… VAR is checking again… did Kean commit a foul on Faraoni in the buildup? Ref says yes! And if I can editorialize here for a second: BUUUUUUUUULLSHIIIIIIIIIIT. Both times, completely and total bullshit

55’: Juve tries from the halfway line, Montipò had it covered

56’: Moise Kean goes into the book for dissent

62’: Juventus double sub: Federico Chiesa and Andrea Cambiaso on for Moise Kean and Filip Kostić

64’: SAVE! Chiesa fires a rocket that Montipo has to palm into the air.

66’: Vlahović lets one fly and puts it over.

69’: McKennie lays it back for Chiesa whose shot is cleared on the line!! Locatelli fires a followup but deflects wide off of Chiesa.

72’: Close! Gatti fires from outside the box and puts it over the far corner.

72’: Verona triple sub: Darko Lazović, Jackson Tchatchoua and Tomáš Suslov on for Josh Doig, Martin Hongla and Davide Faraoni

82’: Juventus substitution: Arkadiusz Milik on for Dušan Vlahović

82’: Lazović tries to catch the keeper napping and fires from distance, but puts it wide.

83’: Chiesa goes down in the box!! Ref immediately waves it off!

84’: Milik puts an unthreatening header wide.

84’: Verona substitution: Suat Serdar on for Federico Bonazzoli

87’: Chiesa puts hit shot wide of the far post from a tight angle.

87’: Juventus substitution: Kenan Yıldız on for Daniele Rugani

90+2’: HUGE MISS!! Yıldız gets a pass over the top, he just has to beat the keeper but he stabs it over the net!

90+3’: Miretti’s curling effort goes wide.

90+5’: Verona substitution: Diego Coppola on for Filippo Terracciano

90+7’: GOAL JUVENTUS!! In the last seconds! Milik’s shot hits the inside of the post, the keeper tries to put it away but Andrea Cambiaso rushes in to clean it up from close range!

Somehow, Juve weren’t the footballing terrorists.

Also, I’m sick of Juve getting the last match of the day every single week. Sort this shit out FIGC!

L’arbitro fra falli inesistenti fischiati e angoli non dati avrà rosicato di brutto per il gol all’ultimo secondo

Allegri getting sent off after the winning goal just sums up this game perfectly.

    Vlahovic looks shit.

Miretti looked class I thought. I thought fagioli was better last season. I guess miretti has improved a lot?

Vlahovic was trash this game but I don’t know how you thought Miretti is good from this game, constantly losing the ball and not making simple plays.

I absolutely adored all of the players this game.

    The guys played like lions, they never gave up, always pushing from the 1st to the last second of the game, i loved how this time they kept looking foward instead of putting the head down on the ball which was last game problem;

Many great passes, great plays, if we just had a bit more accuracy in front of the goal we’d have ended this game with 5 goals.

Great substitutions, poor kean, i honestly think he got robbed of 1 goal, i wont count offside one even if 1-2cm truly suck to see

Lastly, FUCK THIS REF, i counted 3 corners he didnt give us, totally acted on all verona’s diva dives which is shamefoul.

Fino alla fine, vittoria meritata al 1000% forza Juve!!

This win was really important for Juve as their fixtures start to get harder and harder until the beginning of next year.

Inter will need a win tomorrow before their brutal run of fixtures. While Milan will gladly take a draw to keep them in contention for the title (a win would be better obviously)

    Exciting times ahead!

2nd manager sent off today in Serie A (Juric the other). Most dramatic league in the world and I love it.
